How to Measure Your Trousers
1. Waist
Button the trousers and lay them flat on a smooth surface. Gently remove any folds or creases, then measure straight across the waistband for a refined fit.
2. Front Rise
With the trousers buttoned, measure from the crotch seam up to the top edge of the waistband. Ensure the fabric is flat and smooth for perfect accuracy.
3. Hip
Measure across the hip area, typically 1.5 inches below the zipper. This defines the elegant silhouette of the trousers.
4. Thigh
Begin at the crotch seam and measure down 1 to 2 inches below the hip. This reveals the upper leg fit for a tailored drape.
5. Length
Place the trousers flat, aligning the outseams evenly. Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem to capture full length with precision.
6. Knee
Smooth the fabric and measure across the knee at the natural midpoint. Ideal for ensuring a sleek leg contour.
7. Inseam
Lay the trousers flat and measure from the crotch seam to the bottom hem along the inner seam. This defines the inner leg dimension.
8. Leg Opening
Finally, measure the bottom hem from one side of the leg opening to the other. Ensure the fabric is smooth to reflect true width.
